Kings XI Punjab have picked some high-quality players in the recent VIVO Indian Premier League auctions. Now all that is left is to fit the right players in the right place in the playing XI. However, that is much easier said than done considering the various players and their particular strengths.
Recently, we tried to decode the mystery of the playing XI and got a lot of feedback from our fans. Here are a few of the remarks from social media that caught our eye, particularly those who put pen to paper.

There were three potential XIs that we had put out and most had a common choice.
Probable XI-2. But an extra batsmen can be played because Stoinis & Yuvi can bowl too.

I would not slot KL beyond No.3 (pls no more experiments with him at No.4) & Finch beyond opening. Hence probable XIs 1 & 3 will be ruled out. Mayank was most effective at opening, that momentum gained during domestic season should continue. Probable XI 2 looks the best to me.

Speaking of openers, a good start can win you the game more often than not. With that in mind, we had a special for the team’s opening combination as well. There was a universal choice for the Universe Boss to start the proceedings alongside a bunch of strong options.
Gayle and KL Raghul would be the perfect pair as it has a perfect balance. And not only that Finch can play a spot down which he already did in last ipl still able to destroy blowers. If Gayle misses out there we have Finch in. 😁

I feel @henrygayle and @AaronFinch5 is the best opener. Then @mayankcricket @klrahul11 @YUVSTRONG12 @karun126 can be the best middle order batsman. Finisher like @Axar_patel_kxip @MStoinis can finish it. If this been kxip team then we can expect high score every time 160+++.

Another player who fans wanted to see in action was young Mujeeb Ur Rahman. The 19-year-old Afghan international recently took his team to victory in the World Cup Qualifiers, fuelling hopes he’d do the same with the Kings in his maiden IPL campaign.
Muzeeb Zardan must be part of king XI as he's in great form.
