We Punjabis love Delhi. They are our neighbours and close cousins and we would love nothing more than to see them do well in the VIVO Indian Premier League. So it’s no surprise that they’re into a bit of banter like us, after all Dilli is known for its Dilwalahs.

We found this on the internet, and we found it funny. But it left us wondering, is Delhi really willing to poke the lion when it comes to memes? So here we are to try and find out.

We have just one question first…

Delhi obviously love the familiar, they don’t like change too much as far as we can tell. But maybe Simba and Mufasa can say it better?

Delhi had some amazing talent and were among the favourites when they started off. Like our Mujeeb Ur Rahman, you had your own impressive spinner in Sandeep Lamichhane, who could win you games. But he wasn’t really picked for winning games. So obviously when they saw his name in the auctions they said…

There is also something to be said for Maxi, who was in red hot form before coming to the IPL. But unfortunately he couldn’t do very well in the IPL. There must, however, have been one guy who sat on the Delhi table in the auctions going…

In fact, in the ‘end’ the ‘bottom’ line is that the ‘last’ word always goes to those who need the win the most. So go on DD, take the win and at least draw level with us so it becomes fair and we aren’t picking on the little guy who we beat twice.
