Photo: SPORTZPICSMystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy's 2019 VIVO Indian Premier League has been unfortunately cut short due to the injuries he suffered during the season, and leaving him little time to fully recover to make a comeback.
The Tamil Nadu-native has been on the sidelines for most part of the campaign and has been trying to get back to full fitness. While the team were hopeful that Chakravarthy would return for the final few games of the campaign, his recovery however hasn't been sufficient. The 27-year-old will return home as a result.
