Reports making the rounds that Kings XI Punjab is planning a second venue for the upcoming season of the VIVO Indian Premier League are baseless.

"Mohali is Kings XI Punjab's home venue and the team will play all their seven home games during the season at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium at Mohali," said KXIP CEO Satish Menon. "We have had some of our best games in Mohali and look forward to a good season."

KXIP is currently gearing up for the auction that will be held on December 19 and all efforts are currently invested in building a squad for the 2020 season.

The franchise has even launched a unique game to engage with their fans for the IPL auction, called Sadde Kings, to make them virtual stakeholders of the team. Fans can choose who they want to play for the team in the upcoming season as well as determine what the franchise should pay for the player.
