Our bowling spearhead Arshdeep Singh grabbed the headlines after he shattered the middle stump twice in the final over to help us register a 13-run victory against Mumbai Indians in the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 clash at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday, April 22.
The 24-year-old speedster showcased impressive death-bowling skills as he defended 15 runs in the final over to help us register our fourth win in TATA IPL 2023. We leapfrogged to fifth place with eight points.
After conceding just one run in his first two balls of the final over, Arshdeep castled MI batters Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera with consecutive yorkers, which destroyed the stump into halves on both occasions.
